The reload 16-year anniversary was amazing to say the least. Every artist brought their best Drum and Bass and threw it down as hard as they possibly could on the Whomp Truck sound system. The night started off with the local resident at Beta nightclub, Mystical Influence. MI took us back by throwing down some old favorites to get the night started off proper. Then came the bass god known as Downlink. Downlink threw an exclusive hour and a half of strictly drum and bass, which was awesome to see because he is typically used to playing mainly Dubstep sets. I would have to say that Downlinks set was one of my favorites of the night, and even MC Dino got to spit some bars during the set.
After Downlink threw down an amazing all drum and bass set, the almighty Planet of the Drums was up next to play an extended 2 and a half hour set taking us through their history of drums and basslines. They definitely had the crowd moving and got everyone ready for the headliners of the night, Pendulum.
Pendulum also had an amazing set; brining back lots of old favorites like fasten your seatbelts, and Hold your Colour. Ending the night was the epic duo DJ Fury and MC Dino. We always love their creativity when it comes to drum and bass and fast pace dubstep, we just wanted to give a special thanks to the man of the night Steve (DJ Fury) for the hospitality, and for providing Denver with 16 years of amazing production from Reload. Here is to many more years with Reload!!!!!!
