Beatrice Holiday – Wheel Cute Couture
Beatrice Holiday said the idea “Wheel Cute Couture” came to her after multiple mishaps when out on her cruiser bike. Everything from lost credit cards, to keys that would slip thru her basket into the gutter. She knew she couldn’t be the only one having this problem while riding her bike, and knew she had to do something about it. She decided to create her own line of accessories that will work in any setting, but were designed with the cyclist in mind.
Anyone who rides a cruiser knows the desire to customize your bike a bit, and Beatrice Holiday has what you’re looking for. She makes awesome handlebar bags out of vintage fabrics that also convert into a shoulder bag. You can get a matching seat cover out of the same fabric. One of GG’s favorites though has got to be her recycled inner tube and bike chain jewelry.
Her jewelry has been described as: “designed to wear everyday, casual yet elegant,” and we couldn’t agree more. Originally started in Denver, and now based in Venice, California she is all about supporting biking as an alternative mode of transportation. She even donates a percentage of her profits to local bike shops. She truly spreads the grime at a community level. You know when you get anything from Beatrice Holiday that you are supporting locally made, eco-friendly, and vegan products. For all you Denver fam out there, Beatrice Holiday will be back for a visit at the Boulder Creek Festival, May 25 – 27 in Boulder, CO. If you’re in the area then make sure you stop by and check her out.
