Red Bull Slaps Recap

We brought you the heads up a few weeks back about a popular event out in Brooklyn, Red Bull Slaps 1-on-1 Street Handball Tourney. So, incase you missed it, check out this video recap of all the action. Street handball is no joke and last weekend Timbo Gonzalez, one of the world’s top ranked single wall handball players recaptured his title on Saturday by defeating defending champion Geo Vasquez in the big blue division of the 2013 Red Bull Slaps street handball tournament. The invite-only event, now in its third year, is held at the legendary Coney Island handball courts and brings together 96 of New York City’s best talent for a full day of street balling, smack talking and high intensity handball action. This is by far some of the most intense handball playing we’ve seen, and is definietly worth checking out. Who knew you could have so much fun with a rubber ball. Think we might have to give this a try at the GG headquarters this weekend.
