0Outkast and the Mad Decent Block Party
The first ever Mad Decent Block Party in Denver finally happened. After watching all the fun all over the nation last year, we wanted to make sure we got in on the grime early for this event. We help with some promotion and are always eager to see what Diplo has in store. Fiddler’s Green was filling up all day as the Mad Decent family was blasting the tunes.
Riff Raff & Trapzillas were tip toeing in their Jawwwdins all over the stage and brought the Neon Icon to reality for the crowd. Make sure to check the new remix out by Trapzillas also. Killer Mike and El P tossed heaters from their, “Run the Jewels” album. Flosstradamus and Waka Flaka Flame turnt up to the fullest with even more people packing into the grassy knolls. The local boy, GRIZ, came heavy with his style and sounds for the audience and set the stage for the rest of the evening.
Now, we heard that Diplo was taking some dabs before his set…..and we saw his tweet (below) after he finished his set. He brought some new bangers for the crowd and the usual Major Lazor, World dance, and trap legend that we so enjoy. The crowd was filled with happiness and the Mad Decent Block Party was more than successful….it was off the chain!!!
Many of us came to see the legends that are OUTKAST perform their last set on the ReUnion tour. We have heard about the Coachella set and their national tour of Spodie-odie-dope-alicious music. It was time for us to take it at full speed with true sound. It’s been 20 years of Outkast and you can try your best to keep up with our President as he spits bars around the office…..or tell’s people to keep it, “cooler than a polarbear’s toenail…” but you may not understand the lifestyle that came with being truly…..stankonia. The crowd was anxious for the start….the entire backstage area was cleared for their set. They brought the full entourage for this evening……tracks from every album, true entertainment of lore, and didn’t even skip a beat between the tracks…..It was everything we hoped for with seeing Outkast. We suggest your get yours before it’s too late….and REPLACE YOUR TOOTHBRUSH.
