RIP YAMS

On January 18, 2015, ASAP Mob founder, Steven “A$AP Yams” Rodriguez, died at the age of 26.

Yams grew up in Harlem,Ny and was associated with Diplomats Records.At the age of 17 he was Co owner of ASAP worldwide and ASAP mob.Started the group back in 2007 with the likes of ASAP Bari and ASAP illz.Soon after joined ASAP Rocky aka pretty flacco, and ASAP Ferguson aka the Trap Lord.Rockys persona later helped Yams and the Mob to secure a 3 million dollar deal with Rca records.

Yams was huge influence on the hip hop community, and shall leave a lasting impression.From the rappers and producers he had been working with all these years through ASAP worldwide.And the massive amount of followers through social media. Steven Rodriguez has left this hip hop community in a state of disbelief that he has been permanently laid to rest.

Members from the ASAP Mob and the larger hip-hop community have begun to share their grief and condolences. Rest in peace Steven Rodriguez Aka Asap Yams.
