Global warming has been an ongoing problem and national debate for years now. We all have our beliefs and disbelief about this matter. But how hard is it to not ignore the facts that this is and has been a serious problem for our climate and economy.
More face front facts proven this past week along with the closing of three major ski resorts in California. Dodge Ridge in Pinecrest and Badger Pass in Yosemite National Park announced that all trails would be closed until snowfall improved. Also Mount Shasta Ski Park a ski resort located in northern California, just east of Interstate 5 along SR 89 between the city of Mount Shasta and the town of McCloud. The second highest volcano in the Cascade Range. They to announced that they would stop the spinning of their lift chairs for the 2014/2015 winter season.
The biggest cause of global warming is the carbon dioxide released when fossil fuels such as oil and coal are burned for energy. So when you save energy, you fight global warming and save money, too.
Global warming is not gonna get better unless we drastically change our lifestyles as a community. Some simple Things We all can do to try and change or environment and our climate:
1. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
2. Use Less Heat and Air Conditioning
3. Drive Less and Drive Smart
4. Buy Energy-Efficient Products
5. Use Less Hot Water
6. Use the “Off” Switch
7. Plant A Tree/Trees
8. Encourage Others To Conserve
