Chris Robinson Brotherhood – Denver
This weekend the crew that is the Brotherhood pull into Denver for two days of great music and atmosphere at Cervantes. Chris Robinson is well known and his music speaks the truth. The Brotherhood started back in 2011 with almost 50 shows in 9 weeks in California. Since that opening reception, they have been jamming ever since. Rock n Roll is the genre they claim and “a good time” is the mission statement.
We have been waiting to see Chris and the brothers for years now. After an electrifying Jazz Aspen year ago, we’ve been wanting some more rock n roll gospel for our ears. Some of the best things in life are better kept real like their sound and relentless pursuit for soul.
“We don’t make music that can sell iPads. Our music will not sell you a Prius. I like that. Writing songs has always led me to good things in my life. The songwriting saved me through the dark times, and the songwriting makes it that much sweeter when it’s good. Real success can only come in pursuit of an authentic sound. We’re all very committed to this music, beyond money and egos. That’s a unique place to be.” – Chris Robinson
