Cannibal ox recap

This past week we were blessed with the graces of hearing the underground hip hop duo Cannibal Ox from Harlem, Ny. With newly released studio album “Blade of Ronin.” We were beyond stoked they were stopping in Denver to Cervantes the other side.

Arrived to Cervantes pretty early and did our normal routine box office thing of grabbing press passes and tickets. Headed into to the Other Side to catch the openers to see what the local talent had to offer. Now the crowd was anxiously waiting for Cannibal Ox to hit the stage. They started out with some older stuff from “Cold Vein.” Some of our favorites like “Pain Killer” “Raspberry Fields”and a few others. And ended the night with some of the new stuff from newly released album and title of the tour Blade of Ronin. We heard to many good tracks to mention. But the ones that caught our ears were “Harlem nights, Gotham” and last but not least the best track on the album also featuring MF Doom “Iron Rose” to close out the night. See you next time on the Other Side.
