This show went off with a bang! And why wouldn’t it with all the members of Hieroglyphics bringing the heat and rocking the stage. With the support of The Reminders for an opening act it was guaranteed to be lit. This show was a 100% sold out and we could tell the minute we arrived.
The doors open at 8 pm but we didn’t arrive till the time The Reminders were supposed to hit the stage. And when we arrived like I said before the show was 100% sold out, but luckily we had a media pass and a few extras for the homies. After check in it was time to head to the front and dig right into the action. The Reminders did a hell of a job opening that night and set the bar for Hieroglyphics to rock the crowd. No matter how many years go by since this group has been together, they still have one of the best live acts hands down! They played so many good classics and other killer tunes it had the crowd nodding and singing along. We heard a lot of stuff from “3rd eye vision” like “after dark, mics of the round table, at the helm” and a few others. We also heard a few from the kitchen album such as “gun fever and fantasy island” from full circle album. To many to name but it was awesome to the max that’s for damn sure! We hope they drop another album in the near future! Such a good show we had to grab a t-shirt and keychain on the way out the door. Until next time Cervantes!
