Masta Ace – recap
Pure hip hop heads were in the building of Cervantes this night and why wouldn’t they cause anyone who has any kind of hip hop knowledge would be there a hundred percent. And not only was it bumping on the other side, but the Masterpiece Ballroom was hopping to because Curren$y was over there rocking the noise. That’s why this night was a must, two hip hop legends under the same building.
Gotta love the fact you can catch 4 different shows in one night in Denver! And that’s just what we did this night. Started out at Cervantes with Masta Ace and Curren$y later ended up at Beta for Pendulum and the Marquis Theatre for Voodoo Glow Skulls. This is always a good time but a lot of running around to do, but luckily the venues were all close to each other. Definitely was a good night of music and a wide range different genres from the 3 different venues. Masta Ace had to be the favorite of the night though because its been awhile since we’ve heard anything from him for a while. He threw it down for sure as we heard classic tracks from him like acknowledge da grind and many more, to many to mention. It was a lot of running around from the Otherside to the Masterpiece Ballroom but well worth it.
