0WET Party Pool
If you weren’t getting wet with champagne showers on Sunday, then you weren’t at the 2016 Wet Pool Party at Breakers Water Park! Brought to you by Relentless Beats, Big Room Group, and hosted by I’M SHMACKED, they made huge waves and started the pool season off right by bringing up Borgeous and Lil Jon to throw it down for Tucson yet again. It was all sunshine and good vibes, while the #BorgeousArmy and Lil Jon Fans were out in full force to get lit and party!
This legendary pool party was a wild one for sure. The bar was filled and the liquor was flowing! Logan Bohbot and George Garcia were there to start the party off right. Logan Bohbot may be young but super talented! He is from from Connecticut and at only 19 years old, he is swiftly making a name for himself. George Garcia moved the crowd and put out a great set with his dance music! It was a fun location to host this party at Breakers Water Park, because this was the water park that me and my friends always went to when we were kids. Childhood memories flashed back as we slid down the water slides, “Riptide”, “Splash Canyon” and the “Banzai Pipeline”. Besides the 52 foot slides, when you weren’t getting down on the dance floor, you could cool off and take a swim or float around 1.3 million gallons of water in the wave pool.
There is something extra awesome about combined concerts with pool parties that makes everyone extra hyphy to create a carousel of fun for themselves. There must have been a little something special in that champagne shower by Lil Jon, that made the ladies want to take off their swimsuit tops to show some love! After Lil Jon performed, he even mingled with the crowd, taking pictures and taking shots with the stunning ladies that continuously flocked to him. A memorable moment from that afternoon, was when one lady tried to take a shot with him, and in the most classic, loud Lil Jon voice he has, he projected, “NOPE! You will have water!!” And proceeded to take shots with the Grimey Gatsby crew instead.
Borgeous also kept the crowd jumping and screaming from start to finish, so I can see why he always draws in such a great crowd. Borgeous is a DJ and music producer who is based out of LA, but has been making top hits all over the world. He exceeded expectations and really made the crowd go crazy when he played his hit “Tsunami”, and when he featured some of his more recent work like, “This Could be Love” and “They Don’t Know Us”.
The whole shebang gave us a taste of what we were all craving, and definitely was leaving us all wanting more! It was such a great feeling of bliss to experience these epic memories in these artist’s career. It was an explosion of energy poured out on stage and we were so thrilled to be right in the middle of it all!
