Aesop Rock Impossible Kid Tour – recap
Insane night of underground hip hop had went down Monday night! If you call yourself a hip hop head and don’t know who the fuck Aesop rock is, or think that Aesop rock is the same as ASAP Rocky, you shouldn’t be reading this article at all!
After seeing Aesop rock just a a few months or so ago at the Gothic Theater, he returned to Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom for his tour for his new album that dropped called The Impossible kid. So stoked to have heard new material from one of our favorite underground hip hop artist. We’ve been following this dude since 2002 and still to this day we have been rocking his tunes on the regular. He has put out some excellent albums the past couple years, Labor days was probably the best one, then I’d have to say Bazooka tooth Is next favorite, followed by Float. Who am I kidding, all his albums are good!!!! And Aesop Rock Definitely took us back through some of his older stuff, but the main focus was the new album “The Impossible Kid.” To many good tunes played this night so I can’t name them all, but just know that it was and always is one of the best shows to attend.
