Great American Beer Festival

This year, GABF will welcome 60,000 people to the Colorado Convention Center on Oct. 6-8 for one-ounce samples of 3,800-plus beers from more than 800 breweries.

This year will be the festival’s 35th. The inaugural GABF took place in 1982 at the Harvest House Hotel, with 800 people and 47 beers from 24 breweries. New additions this year include an area with games, music, food and additional rest rooms, and an expanded “Meet the Brewer” section with 120 brewery booths staffed only by employees. Overall, you can definitely expect more of what makes GABF unique — costumes, bagpipes, and drunk people galore.

Tickets go on sale August 3rd at 10am mountain time. You’ll want to get them fast, though – last year tickets sold out in less than two hours. Grab them here.

Lots of other information is also available on their website – www.greatamericanbeerfestival.com
