BINGO PLAYERS – Recap
On September 8th, Relentless beats brought us Bingo Players to put smiles on all our faces as they left their mark at the Rialto Theatre. It’s truly an amazing sight to see Bingo Players continue to make amazing hits, after going through so much. It all started in 1976 when Maarten Hoogstraten and Paul Bäumer originally started to create music together.
At the height of their success, everyone was shocked to hear that Paul quickly became ill and was diagnosed with cancer in 2013. Support and optimism that outpoured from friends and family, but sadly, Paul passed away shortly after. Paul’s wishes were to have Maarten carry on the name and the legacy of Bingo Players, and that is just what he did!
The opening acts with RVRE and Michael James also put on great performances, to hype up the crowd right from the start with their good vibes. As we walked into the venue, you could tell that the crowd was ready for a good time! After a few songs (and a few drinks) everyone was dancing along. It is funny to see so many people in the crowd snapchatting throughout the night, to make all their friends jealous of what they were missing out on! That night was such a grind show of entertainment and it definitely was a spectacle we were glad we didn’t miss!
