Danny Brown – Denver recap
If you missed the Exhibition tour at Cervantes I feel bad for you son, shit was double turnt to the fucking maximum!!!! And by this we mean for one, Maxo Kream was on the same line up,number two the title of this tour was for Danny Brown’s new album The Exhibition Tour which released the same day as the concert in Denver.
As some people like to say the early bird gets the blunt, You had to arrive a little earlier to Cervantes if you wanted to catch Maxo Kream. The 808s sounded so good on the system at Cervantes it was shaking the bottles behind the bar. He definitely had the party jumping,But the crowd was anxiously waiting for Danny Brown to hit the stage.Which was sort of surprising considering he was just in Denver for Riot Fest a week or so before this show.I’m sure the new album had a little bit to do with the amazing turnout in attendance. When Danny Brown finally hit the stage the crowd was too hype!Jumping up and down ,stage diving and moshing all while singing along to his most popular tracks. The club banger “Dip” had the rave kids feeling right at home with a techno influenced bass line. And let’s not forget his all time liked tune titled “grown up”.Then there is the heavy hitter track stacked with a list of great artist on one track, I’m talking about “Really Doe”,which has Blackmilk on the beat along with artists Kendrick Lamar,Danny Brown,Ab-Soul and Earl Sweatshirt. If you haven’t heard that song yet I suggest you go and YouTube that shit right now.
