Getter livened up Tucson last Wednesday on October 19th, when he hit the stage with full force! Relentless Beats and N9NE Fest also brought out Aryay, Nick Colletti and Half Empty for the supporting acts for the evening.
What was the most memorable part of that night was the amazing visuals that were displayed right from the front of the DJ booth. For Half Empty, it would show their logo as normal, then throughout the set, the logo started melting off the screen. It looked very psychedelic! Aryay had all sorts of different animal themed visuals and lion heads, that would flash back and forth.
Now we all know Getter is known for not only his music, but also for his infamous “Suh Dude” vine video as well. Well apparently, it was evident when one fan stated after the show as he was laughing, “You could really tell the difference between the music fans and the vine fans” Others agreed as another fan chimed in and said, “A lot of people were staring me down as I was dancing and head banging.” We guess that it can happen anywhere, but small downtown venues in comparison to festival grounds always create different vibes with this kind of music scene.
One lucky fan was also granted the privilege to have a meet and greet with Getter after the show. Even though this was Getter’s first tour being a headliner, it is still astonishing when artists take the time to meet fans and mingle with the crowd. It really shows that fan appreciation! The show did feel a little short however, being only a few hours long, but it was still jam packed full of entertainment! Overall, we had a great time at the Wat The Frick Tour! Keep it grimey with us and stay tuned for what’s next!
