Rastasaurus – recap

This band is making quite the name for themselves and has established a pretty decent following of locals around the area of Denver. And after seeing them for the first time ever at Cervantes the other side we can see why, such a great live soulful band. They sounded good, kinda reminded us of one of my favorite bands, Sublime. So we guess this would be the reason they caught our eye and my ear also.

Rastasaurus played a lot reggae originals for the crowd. While the band’s show filled the Other Side with psychedelic riffs of the guitar and keeping things pure and simple. Lots of melodies played this night and the sublime they threw in the mix really was on point. “Scarlet Begonias” was the bands choice and they absolutely killed it. They really sounded extra confident in their set and even performing above the front row jam-packed crowd with ease.
