Medium Rare- Cart-Driver
Cart-Driver in the Rino neighborhood of Denver is dishing out some of the tastiest wood fired pizzas in the Mile Hile with a ton of character to back it up. Its nested in a tiny shipping container with a full view of the pizzas going through the line and in and out of the brick oven. They have a larger patio area where you can enjoy some pies with a breeze, maybe with one of the many brews on tap too.
We started with a grip of oysters, flown in fresh daily and a few Titans from Great Divide Brewing, not a bad way to end the day at work. They have some awesome deals for happy hour and way late hours as well. Not a bad spot at all to end your night, and we haven’t even gotten to the pizzas yet… Oh god, the Pizzas. We Got three of these wood-fired bad boys and we demolished them all without anything left on the plates. The first pizza was the Clam, with clam necks, garlic and pancetta on some of the best tasting crust, out there. The next pizza we grabbed was the mushroom pie with its royal trumpet mushrooms, red onions, creme fraiche, and chives. And finally the Peppers with its spicy pepperoni, garlic and chili. This place is one of the only spots I want we want to grab Brick style pizzas and there’s a number of reasons.
