Medium Rare – Postino Wine Cafe
I don’t really miss that much about living in Arizona except for all the great food spots that I’ve taken a bite into over the span of my life and one place that always seems to wander into my mind is Postino Wine Cafe. And when I found out they had a location in LoHi Denver, I knew I made the right choice setting up shop in Denver. Postino offers out one of our favorite deals, on Monday and Tuesday nights 8 to close, Bruschetta and a bottle of Wine for $20, its perfect for 2 people to share and you get quite the options to choose from on both ends.
I rarely drink wine, so in our minds we want to order the most expensive bottle on the menu to get night going. We try and get there a little bit early and grab a beer at Recess while waiting for our spot on the patio, with its perfect view out over the park and Little Man Ice Cream in the distance, not a bad way to spend a week night at all. There are `12 bruschetta to choose, from classic to creative, you have your pick of 4 per board and I always end up ordering and extra bruschetta or 2 on top of that. The best bruschetta is the Prosciutto, Fig and Mascarpone but the Salami and Pesto as well as the Burrata, Bacon, Arugula and Tomatoes, Postino isn’t fucking around when it comes to Bruschetta and Wine.
