Joywave – 2/22 Denver
Joywave, the band that lives up to its unique name and sound. As we prepare to welcome the indie pop band into Denver tomorrow and Thursday at Globe Hall we will first preview what to expect from the very popular band.
Joywave is an American indie rock band from Rochester, New York, consisting of members Daniel Armbruster (vocals), Joseph Morinelli (guitar), Sean Donnelly (bass), Benjamin Bailey (keyboards), and Paul Brenner (drums). The band first became known for its collaboration with electronic music project Big Data. “Dangerous”, one of there more well known songs, peaked at number one on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart in 2014. More recently the group released their new song called “Doubt” and debuted the song on the Late Night Show with Stephen Colbert. Joywave is currently touring America on their very own headlining tour called ‘Thanks for Coming 2018’ before heading out on a tour with 30 Seconds to Mars this summer.
You can feel the excitement in the air as Joywave gets ready to take over Denver on Wednesday 2/21 and Thursday 2/22 at the Globe Hall. Fair warning to everyone hoping to go on Thursday, that show is currently SOLD OUT. So don’t be surprised if tickets run out for Wednesday’s show as well by the time you read this and wake up! Denver’s let’s give this amazingly talented band something to remember!
