Show Recap- Kursa/Lone Drum and Kloudmen at The Black Box 7/28
What a funky night to say the least. As Denver welcomed in Kursa and Lonedrum, Kloudmen and Squarewave for a long awaited show this past Saturday, I must say I was quiet caught by surprise by the funky-grime mix of the entire show.
It was the Denver debut of Kloudmen and I must say the performance was quite amazing. From the energy on stage to the energy in the crowd everyone could not get enough of the music. As the night wore on more and more people started to fill the venue almost to max capacity for the main act, Kursa and Lone Drum.
The Black Box continues to provide the soulful and funky yet Grimey artists that we all crave. From the talent such as Sin 7 in the Lounge to Kloudmen and Kursa/Lone Drum on the main stage, the entire line up from top to bottom was wonderful. This show really lived up to the hype. Thanks to all the wonderful staff and people at the Black Box that make these shows happen week in and week out!
And remember my friends to Spread the Grime and Keep It Gatsby!
